Since starting out as a trained cartographer, I have always worked in the field of geographic information systems. My focus has been on their application in utilities and telecommunications in three countries (the USA, the UK, and Switzerland). During my long career, I have held various roles, from technical and sales to business management. I am a co-founder of geoimpact AG and have founded or co-founded two other companies. My professional passion lies in using intelligent spatial data to improve business processes.
Leisure time
Happily married for many years but without children, I spend my free time traveling with my wife, playing guitar, hiking, and cooking. My particular passion is drawing imaginary maps of the country. I also manage a small business producing Mexican food.
